The Culinary Essentials certificate course is designed for individuals who are interested in or currently pursuing a career in the food and beverage industry. The benefit of taking this course is that you will gain knowledge or enhance your current knowledge on understanding kitchen roles, sustainable agriculture, proper food handling and food presentation along with other topics.
The culinary essentials course will prepare you for a future role as Sous Chef, Chef, F&B Manager, Bar Manager, or Restaurant Manager or supervisor.
The course is offered jointly by the American Hospitality Institute and the International Hospitality Institute. IHI's certifications and certificates are recognized by the global hospitality community.
